Top July bottom October

She’s on mostly Honest Kitchen with occasional raw chicken feet and occasional kibble (First Mate atm)  Adding kelp to her food which is supposed to help break down plaque. Seems to be improving anyway. She goes in to get her molar removed in a couple weeks (which is causing the red line on her gums).

Her breath doesn’t smell bad like it used to which is nice. It will be nice when she can get the problematic tooth pulled but not long now.

Throwback photos to the day I met Lola. Her owner had passed away from cancer and she had been living out in this run (along with 5ish other dogs-separate runs) She has since lost about 10lbs, on better food, and nails aren’t quite as horrendous as they were. Still has her red ball though!

Sadly the rottweiler has since passed away from cancer. The horses, llamas and I think another one of the dogs have since died as well. They were all getting up there in age, so lived full lives at least.

Has anyone had success with calming products from Thundershirts? This is the Calming Spray and Collar that both use pheromones to help calm them. The collar will work for about a month and Lola has had it on for almost a week so I’m curious to see how she does on it! Hoping it will help with some of her anxiety
